Your recorders, your AI, your files
You bring the recorders and the AI. Crewloop's servers never record, transcribe or store audio, and run no AI: they match each conversation to its job and file it in your own Drive or OneDrive. The Crewloop app can record a site visit on your phone; your phone transcribes it, and the audio goes straight to your own Drive or OneDrive.
Where your data lives
Two places, and the bigger one is yours.
Yours
Your Drive or OneDrive holds the full record
- Every conversation's note, in its job's folder
- Under your own storage account, your sharing and your retention
- Your copy, yours to keep if you leave
Crewloop
Crewloop holds an index
- Who was on each conversation, when, on which line, and which job it landed on
- What it needs to match, search and report, and no audio
- Exported in one step, and removed when you delete your company
Locked down, company by company
- Encrypted in transit and at rest Every connection uses TLS, and the database is encrypted on disk.
- Each company fenced off Every row carries its company, and row-level security keeps each company's rows from every other company.
- No master key on our servers No Crewloop server holds the database key that would pass those fences.
Your content does your work only
Crewloop processes your conversations for one purpose: to do what your company asked of it. It matches them, files them and reports on them.
We never use your content for our own purposes, and we train no model on it, ours or anyone else's.
Your conversations go only to the AI app your company connected, under your agreement with that company.
Sensitive details are removed before anything is saved.
Recording consent
Recording laws differ by state, and some require every party's consent. Under our Terms, your company is responsible for consent. Crewloop gives you the tools:
- An announcement setting for each recorder that supports one.
- A consent record on every conversation.
- A state-by-state guide The recording consent guide is information, not legal advice.
Who touches your data
The companies Crewloop runs on, what each one does, and its audit report.
| Vendor | What it does for Crewloop | What it touches | Audit report |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Runs Crewloop’s servers and this website | Every request on its way to Crewloop | SOC 2 Type II, under NDA |
| Supabase | Holds Crewloop’s database: the index of your conversations | The index, each company fenced off by row-level security | SOC 2 Type 2 |
| Stripe | Bills your subscription | Billing contacts and payment details, and no conversations | SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, on request |
| Resend | Delivers Crewloop’s email to your people | The addresses and words of each email it sends | SOC 2 Type II |
Your Drive or OneDrive and your AI app are your company's own choices, under your own agreements with them, so they are not in this table.
